Ashstone MEP were appointed by CMS Plumbing & Heating Ltd to deliver mechanical services design for the refurbishment of the existing Yeomans car dealership and workshop in Plymouth.

The scope of services included the design of new mechanical services to the workshop areas, developed to support the operational requirements of a modern automotive facility. This included the design of gas-fired radiant heating systems, supported by IES thermal modelling to accurately assess heat losses and system performance.

Ashstone MEP worked in close liaison with the client to establish the expected number of roller shutter openings per hour and the duration of each opening, ensuring the heating system was correctly sized to suit real working conditions.

Designs were developed to integrate with the existing building fabric and dealership operations, ensuring buildability, compliance, and efficient performance following refurbishment.
