Westcombe Park

Ashstone MEP were appointed to deliver full MEP services design for Westcombe Park, a residential development by Bellway Homes in Great Totham, Maldon, Essex.

The scope of services included the coordinated design of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems across the development. Ashstone MEP also delivered a co-ordinated site-wide utility layout, including liaison with a multi-utility provider, to ensure integrated, buildable, and efficiently phased service routes across the scheme.

As part of the design process, Ashstone MEP incorporated the requirements of the SAP and overheating assessors into the MEP design, developed a car charging strategy to support current and future electric vehicle demand, and ensured that all proposals conformed with the Client’s Employer’s Requirements. Designs were progressed in close collaboration with the wider design team to support buildability, regulatory compliance, and efficient delivery.

This project reflects Ashstone MEP’s experience in delivering fully coordinated MEP and utility infrastructure designs for large residential developments.
