Swanton House

Ashstone MEP were appointed to deliver MEP services and energy design for the new-build Swanton House residential development, comprising 34 apartments across two blocks, with Bauvill delivering the project on behalf of Ashford Borough Council.

The scope of services included the full coordination and development of mechanical, electrical, and public health services, alongside SAP calculations to demonstrate compliance with Part L and overheating analysis in accordance with Part O of the Building Regulations. Ashstone MEP also provided utility management services, including coordination of utility provider quotations, the design and coordination of buried services, and the design of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

A client-appointed MEP consultant was retained to undertake technical review of all Ashstone MEP design information, providing independent technical assurance throughout the design process.

Designs were developed to support energy performance, occupant comfort, and buildability, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and project standards.
