Rosewood

Ashstone MEP were appointed to deliver MEP services and energy design for the Rosewood residential development in Langley, Maidstone, comprising 109 units across a mix of houses and apartments.

The scope of services included the coordinated design of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, alongside SAP calculations and overheating analysis to support compliance with current Building Regulations. Dwelling heating solutions were based on gas boiler systems, with photovoltaic (PV) panels incorporated to achieve energy compliance targets.

Ashstone MEP also provided utility design and coordination, including liaison with multi-utility provider GTC and Openreach, ensuring integrated and compliant connections across the development. In addition, Ashstone MEP produced the planning-stage energy statement to support the discharge of planning conditions.

Designs were progressed in close coordination with the wider project team to support buildability, regulatory compliance, and efficient delivery.
