Rochester Riverside

Ashstone MEP were appointed to deliver MEP services design for Phases 4 and 5 of the Rochester Riverside development for Vistry, forming part of the wider Rochester Riverside regeneration scheme.

The development comprises 353 new homes within a mixed-use scheme, constructed around an existing industrial estate. The scope of services included the coordinated design of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, with traditional air source heat pump solutions serving the houses and exhaust air heat pump cylinders serving the apartments. Ashstone MEP also provided shell-and-core MEP design for ground-floor commercial units, allowing flexibility for future tenant fit-out.

Designs were developed in close coordination with the wider design team to support buildability, regulatory compliance, and efficient delivery within a constrained site environment.

This project reflects Ashstone MEP’s experience in delivering coordinated MEP design solutions for large-scale, phased mixed-use residential developments.
