The coordinated design packages comprised electrical substation final coordination and integration; life-safety standby power systems including Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and final diesel generator selection; generator ventilation, controls, and system interfaces; noise assessment, calculations, and testing; controls strategy development including valve selection and authority; Building Management System (BMS) design and interfaces; telecommunications systems; fire detection and alarm systems including evacuation alert systems; security, access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems; solar photovoltaic (PV) system design and coordination; lift installations including passenger, goods, evacuation, and firefighting lifts; lightning protection systems; smoke ventilation systems; sprinkler systems including electrical supplies and controls wiring; and dry and wet riser systems. All BMS design was developed in full accordance with the London Borough of Southwark’s standard BMS and controls specification.

This scope reflects Ashstone MEP’s experience in managing complex, multi-discipline CDP coordination for high-risk buildings, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinated system integration, and readiness for Gateway 2 approval.
