Ashstone MEP were appointed to deliver full MEP services and energy design for the refurbishment of The Golden Lion, Luddesdown, with MDCV as the overall client and Overbury Estates acting as Main Contractor.

The design scope included lighting, power, heating, cooling and ventilation systems, underfloor heating, air source heat pump (ASHP) solutions, domestic hot and cold water services, and drainage design. Ashstone MEP also undertook SBEM energy modelling to support compliance with current Building Regulations and inform energy-efficient design development.

Ashstone MEP coordinated closely with the specialist kitchen contractor to integrate MEP services within the refurbished commercial kitchen, ensuring compatibility with catering equipment and operational requirements.
