Caspian H West

Following the successful delivery of MEP services at Caspian Site H East, Ashstone MEP Ltd were appointed for the next phase of Bellway London Partnerships’ Barking Riverside redevelopment at Caspian Site H West.

MEP services were developed in close coordination with Bellway London Partnerships and Stockwool Architects to meet masterplan requirements, planning conditions, and project sustainability targets.

The scheme comprises 167 residential units, with MEP design covering both the residential buildings and associated public realm and podium amenity spaces. Scope included coordination of site-wide utilities, LV power distribution, external and communal lighting, domestic water services, heating, ventilation, and public health systems, ensuring coordinated interfaces with architectural and landscape proposals and long-term maintainability.

Residential heating is provided via individual gas-fired boilers, with on-site renewable generation delivered through photovoltaic (PV) installations to each house and both apartment blocks.

The MEP design achieved compliance with Building Regulations, adoptable authority standards, and accessibility requirements, supporting a safe, efficient, and resilient development aligned with the Barking Riverside masterplan.
