Andy Blackwell

Andy draws on 34 years of experience within the building engineering industry, including 23 years with AECOM (ranked #5 in Top Global Design Firms – Engineering News Record 2024) where he was based primarily in China but also spent 8 years in Russia, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. He has been with Ashstone MEP since the beginning of 2025 where his primary focus is on CAD and BIM process documentation creation and coordination.

Andy brings to Ashstone MEP a well-rounded knowledge of MEP within Residential, Commercial, Educational, Healthcare, Hospitality, Laboratory / Pharmaceutical, Media / Entertainment and Retail projects along with experience of integrated project delivery with in-house Structural Engineering, Architectural and Interior Design, Lighting Design, Façade Engineering and Sustainability project teams. When called upon he has also proven himself able to support his teams and clients by way of Project Management, Project Financial Management, Project Marketing and Bid Management, and Operations Management.
